Cadillac Confirms XTS Concept & CTS V Coupe For 2010 Detroit Auto Show December 30th, 2009 The 2010 Detroit Auto Show is now just about two weeks away and we've already learned that Cadillac will be unveiling a brand new concept car at the upcoming event. Today, GM North America's new president Chris Preuss confirmed via Twitter that the XTS Concept is the mystery Cadillac. This teaser image of the concept, released just over a week ago, reveals Cadillacs latest take on the brands Art & Science design language, which has influenced the styling of recent models like the CTS and STS as well as the previous Sixteen and Converj concept cars. Cadillac is currently working on two new models: one, a replacement for the STS and DTS lines dubbed XTS, and the second, a new entry level model rumored to be called the ATS. Not much detail can be seen on the concept in the teaser but its strong lines and oversized grille suggests the former. The story doesnt end there as Cadillac has also confirmed recently that it will be unveiling a high performance 2011 CTS V Coupe based on the recently revealed 2011 CTS Coupe that debuted at this months 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show. Expect the car to feature the same 556 horsepower and 551 pound feet of torque supercharged 6.2 liter V 8 as found in the regular CTS V Sedan. Production is scheduled to start in the summer of 2010.
